Well the tablet war is still raging on – with Apple and Android juggernauts competing for the top spot. According to the latest report released by Strategy Analytics, it seems that the report suggests that Apple still tops the tablet market with their Apple iPad. Interestingly enough, Apple’s dominance might be shattered, as Android-based tablets are fast catching up with the iPad.
Generally, Apple now owns a gigantic slice of the tablet market, with 58 percent of the entire market share. The Android market share on the other hand, isn’t too bad at all, as they now hold 39 percent share. The Android has seen a gigantic leap over the past year, whereby shipments reached 10.5 million units for the last quarter, with Apple shipping 15.4 million iPads for the same quarter of the year. I’m guessing that the Android tablet would definitely give Apple a run for their money?

So what are ultrabooks? Superior laptops that have enormous data processing capabilities? Well not quite that, but ultrabooks are extremely small and thin laptops, and are accustomed to Intel, which the company is currently promoting these extremely slim laptops to consumers. Of course, Intel has voiced their intention to develop and market an ultra thin laptop sometime ago, and it seems that the company will be unveiling their technological marvel at the upcoming CES.
Insiders have also mentioned that Intel is reportedly planning a gigantic ad campaign, in which this particular advertising push is the single largest push in 8 years, in order to promote their Ultrabooks. I’m guessing that probably tablets and netbooks might be a thing of the past, after Ultrabooks claim the spotlight in the near future? Here’s a glimpse of Intel’s superiorly thin, Ultrabook:

Well not all firmware upgrades are perfect, and in the last update on the Xbox 360, it seems that users have experience a problem associated to a particular color space on their user interface. In fact, according to several beta testers that used the interface during its beta testing period, have reported the issue, but no drastic measures were taken to address the problem – up until now.
Microsoft has recently acknowledges that the Xbox 360 color space problem does exists, and that they are working on a fix to address the problem. Apparently, there are also other problems associated with the recent firmware upgrade, in which it is singled out to the HDMI output having HDCP authentication problems with certain TVs and receivers. We’ll just pray hard that Microsoft can deliver a solid firmware upgrade in the near future.

My wife loves flowers, and I normally send her beautiful flowers for special occasions like our wedding anniversary, birthday, and even Valentine’s Day. I admit that I’m quite a busy person, and sometimes running to the nearest store to purchase flowers is somewhat out of context given the busy schedule that I run everyday. Luckily, I can rely on this flower delivery by FloristExpress to deliver my flowers on time. Naturally, most florists offer free flower delivery services when you purchase flowers from their shop, but based on my observation, not many florists provide their services online. Personally, I find online flower shops to be a value added service, as I can purchase flowers online and have them delivered on a specified date. |

Sometimes going to war means that soldiers would need to be mentally and physically prepared to face various uncertainties. Of course, 21st century technology uses virtual reality on a wide scale basis, and apparently, the British has adopted yet another revolutionary ways to train their soldiers – through Xbox war games.
Basically, the British are using the Virtual Battlespace 2 as their training platform. Although Virtual Battlespace 2 isn’t anywhere near the Hollywood-style excitement of Modern Warfare, it still does the job competently well. And judging by the fact that the government is introducing various austerity measures to boost the already weak economy, the military can’t afford big-budget training exercises, which makes virtual reality training the next best option. Well, perhaps those that excel in the video game can be the universal soldier of the future? On the other hand, who knows military training can be such fun? – Sign me up will ya?!

Of late, my uncle told me his predicaments with his prostate problems, which causes various inconveniences, such as leaking or dribbling urine, and his condition also causes uneasiness, which casually induces the feeling of having to ease himself at the toilet – even after he just finished easing himself. Basically, I told my uncle that he should get some adult diapers, as the adult diaper can address the leaking prostate problem. On the other hand, I also gave my uncle some invaluable advices, in which he can conveniently shop for adult diapers online. For instance, www.disposablemedicalexpress.com sells various types of adult diapers, and I find their retail price to be very reasonable too. To shop for adult diapers, try www.disposablemedicalexpress.com. |

What would you do with a supercomputer that can process a whopping 10.51 petaflops? The truth is – nobody knows. And judging by the fact that such supercomputers consume tremendous amount of electricity, I’m guessing that owning such a gigantic computer must have its cause. Nevertheless, Moscow State University has recently disclosed that they have contracted T-Platforms to build a 10.51 petaflops super computer, in which the respective supercomputer would fall a little short of the world’s fastest Japanese K Computer.
According to T-Platforms, they will build the supercomputer from nodes using the Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge Xeon processors, and they will also couple that supercomputer with NVIDIA’s next generation Kepler GPU processors too. The supercomputer will also be based on Intel’s Many Integrated Core (MIC) architecture too. So what does Moscow State University wants to do with such a powerful supercomputer? Like I said earlier – nobody knows.
