Sometimes going to war means that soldiers would need to be mentally and physically prepared to face various uncertainties. Of course, 21st century technology uses virtual reality on a wide scale basis, and apparently, the British has adopted yet another revolutionary ways to train their soldiers – through Xbox war games.
Basically, the British are using the Virtual Battlespace 2 as their training platform. Although Virtual Battlespace 2 isn’t anywhere near the Hollywood-style excitement of Modern Warfare, it still does the job competently well. And judging by the fact that the government is introducing various austerity measures to boost the already weak economy, the military can’t afford big-budget training exercises, which makes virtual reality training the next best option. Well, perhaps those that excel in the video game can be the universal soldier of the future? On the other hand, who knows military training can be such fun? – Sign me up will ya?!
