Onkyo is widely known for their digiframes, as well as an assorted range of PCs. Apparently, Onkyo has recently showcased two of their very first iPod and iPhone dock, which promises to give the ‘wow’ factor to audiophiles in the market. Generally, the CS-1045DAB comes with two 70W output, and it also comes with optical and coaxial SPDIF inputs as well. There’s a front-mounted USB port, 24-bit Burr-Brown DAC, and VLSC Vector Linear Shaping Circuit tech. Well this particular dock will be available at August for £600 ($925).
And if your budget is tight, then perhaps you should take a look at the CS-545UK. This particular dock comes with smaller 50W outputs, tray-loaded CD player, and MP3 compatibility. There’s an iPod dock and USB input, and also a sub-woofer out as well. The unit is yours for £249, and if you want to pair it with the speakers, it will cost you £349 ($537) and it’s available in September.
